The CDMA board has selected Friday, June 6th for the Annual Social at Mile Square Park.  Campus representatives were requested to check their campus calendars/PIO offices for potential conflicts.  Please let me know if you have any campus conflicts as soon as possible.  

It was unanimously decided to handle April's CDMA Board meeting via email due to a large number of conflicts the second and third week of April 2008.  We will meet as usual on Tuesday, May 13th.  

Other items with dates:

March 19th - Board of Trustees meeting is a budget workshop presented by Kim Allen.  This year's budget should be of particular interest to all managers, and all managers are encouraged to attend.

District-wide Shutdown:  May 9th - 14th

CDMA Board Elections:
Vice President & Secretary - Nominations will be accepted beginning April 21st.  Voting will take place between May 12th - 20th.  Newly elected board members begin their terms on August 1, 2008.

Campus Elections:
Campus Representatives will hold their elections for one Campus Representative (2-year term) and one Meet & Confer Committee Member (1-year term), and provide election results no later than Monday, June 2, 2008.  Newly elected representatives begin their terms on August 1, 2008.

·         Special CDMA Meeting for all managers May 23rd, 7:30am, District Board Room. 

The Meet and Confer committee is holding an all managers’ meeting on May 23rd to bring you up-to-date on what Meet and Confer does in general and what we are doing right now!

Two key areas of discussion have been Deans’ and VPs’ salaries and the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for all managers.

The meeting is from 7:30 to 8:30 AM, May 23rd, at the District Offices Board Room.  We will supply coffee, doughnuts and fruit!
